In vielen Teilen Deutschlands wird am 08. Februar die Weiberfastnacht gefeiert. Sie startet die Hochsaison des Faschings - was auch vielerorts Karneval genannt wird. Es wird gefeiert, getanzt und es gibt unzählige Umzüge mit bunten Wagen und Kostümen, sowie leckere Pfannkuchen.
Do you know the tradition of "Fasching" in Germany?
In many parts of Germany, Weiberfastnacht is celebrated on February 8th. It marks the start of the high season of carnival - also known as Karneval in many places. There is partying, dancing and countless parades with colorful floats and costumes and delicious “Pfannkuchen” (donuts).
