Jedes Wochenende gibt es eine tolle Aktivität mit GLS. Im Juli stehen viele unterschiedliche Aktivitäten auf dem Programm. Wir machen verschiedene Ausflüge, eine Fahrradtour an der East Side Gallery lang und natürlich schauen wir gemeinsam das EM-Finalspiel.
Auch für die Sportlichen haben wir diesen Monat etwas dabei, lass dich auf was Neues ein und gehe mit uns zusammen Plogging - na gespannt, was das ist, dann bleib dran.

Every weekend there is a great activity with GLS. In June we have many different activities in the program. We're going on various excursions, taking a bike ride along the East Side Gallery and, of course, we're watching the European Championship final together.
We've also got something for the more sporty among you this month, so get involved in something new and join us for some Plogging - stay tuned to find out what that is.

Wir machen einen Fahrradtour entlang der East Side Gallery. Die East Side Gallery gehört zu den Höhepunkten Berlins. Viele Künstler:innen haben sich mit ihren Graffitis hier verewigt. Die über 1km lange Bildergalerie regt zum Denken und Schmunzeln an, hebt politische Themen hervor und dient auch als ansprechendes Fotomotiv.

We take a bike tour along the East Side Gallery. The East Side Gallery is one of the highlights of Berlin. Many artists have immortalized themselves here with their graffiti. The more than 1km long picture gallery makes you think and smile, highlights political issues and also serves as an attractive photo motif.

Die Altstadt von Görlitz ist auf der Lister des Weltkulturerbes. Das nicht ohne Grund! Hier wurden viele Hollywoodfilme gedreht, zum Beispiel „Inglourious Bastards“ und „The Grand Budapest Hotel“. Wir besuchen auch Zgorzelec, früher ein Stadtteil von Görlitz und heute eine eigenständige Stadt in Polen.
The old town of Görlitz is on the World Heritage List. Not without reason! Many Hollywood films were shot here, for example "Inglourious Bastards" and "The Grand Budapest Hotel". We also visit Zgorzelec, formerly a district of Görlitz and now an independent city in Poland.

Nur eine Stunde von Berlin entfernt betritt man im Erpetal eine völlig andere Welt. Hier wandern wir auf einem schmalen Pfad ca. 11 km durch feuchte Wiesen und dunklen Wald an der Grenze zwischen Berlin und Brandenburg. Dabei sammeln wir beim wandern herumliegenden Müll ein und machen so etwas gutes für die Umwelt.
Just an hour from Berlin, you enter a completely different world in the Erpetal. Here we hike along a narrow path for about 11 km through damp meadows and dark forests on the border between Berlin and Brandenburg. As we hike, we collect garbage lying around and do something good for the environment.
