City Walk: Alexanderplatz & Nikolaiviertel

Zuerst besuchen wir den Alexanderplatz, einen der bekanntesten Plätze Berlins, wo Geschichte auf modernes Stadtleben trifft. Vom historischen Berliner Fernsehturm bis hin zu den modernen Hochhäusern – hier spürt man das pulsierende Leben der Stadt.
Danach geht’s ins Nikolaiviertel, Berlins ältestes Wohnviertel. In den engen Gassen fühlt man die Geschichte der Stadt. Ein Highlight ist das Ephraim-Palais Museum, wo wir die Ausstellung „BerlinZEIT – Die Stadt macht Geschichte“ besuchen und mehr über die spannende Entwicklung Berlins erfahren.
First, we’ll visit Alexanderplatz, one of Berlin’s most famous squares, where history meets modern city life. From the historic Berlin TV Tower to the modern skyscrapers, you can feel the vibrant energy of the city here.
Next, we’ll head to the Nikolaiviertel, Berlin’s oldest residential area. Walking through its narrow streets, you can really feel the city’s history. A highlight is the Ephraim-Palais Museum, where we’ll check out the exhibition "BerlinZEIT – The City Makes History" and learn about the fascinating evolution of Berlin.

In uns allen steckt ein wütender Vulkan – voller Energie, schnell und furchtlos. Wut kann schön sein, besonders wenn wir sie tanzen. Vier Tänzer*innen zeigen, wie Wut in eine kreative und beeindruckende Choreografie verwandelt wird.
Die Performance stellt die Frage: Soll Wut immer kontrolliert werden oder gibt es Dinge, für die wir mit aller Kraft kämpfen sollten?
Nach der Vorstellung laden wir euch zu Language & Art Lovers in die Foyerbar ein. Dort könnt ihr euch über Kunst, Sprachen und das Erlebte austauschen.

In all of us lies an angry volcano – full of energy, fast, and fearless. Anger can be beautiful, especially when we dance it. Four dancers show how anger can be transformed into a creative and impressive choreography.
The performance raises the question: Should anger always be controlled, or are there things we should fight for with all our strength?
After the performance, we invite you to Language & Art Lovers at the foyer bar, where you can exchange ideas about art, languages, and what you’ve experienced.
