This week at GLS is going to be really exciting! We’ll meet and talk, learn interesting things about the former East Germany, watch a movie under the open sky, and go on trips to Kreuzberg and Magdeburg.
Die GLS Sprachschule organisiert jede Woche mehrere Unternehmungen in Berlin, die nach dem Deutschkurs stattfinden und bei denen du zusammen mit anderen Kursteilnehmern Berlin erkunden kannst.

Der Film läuft im Freiluftkino auf dem Campus der ehemaligen Stasi-Zentrale in Berlin.
Er ist spannend und wichtig, weil er zeigt, wie Menschen 1989 auf Hiddensee Freiheit gesucht haben und gegen das DDR-System aufbegehrten. Die Geschichte ist berührend, voller Hoffnung und passt perfekt zu diesem historischen Ort.
The film is showing at an open-air cinema on the campus of the former Stasi headquarters in Berlin.
It’s interesting and important because it tells the story of people in 1989 seeking freedom on Hiddensee, standing up against the East German regime. The story is moving, full of hope, and fits perfectly with this historic location.
