Eine Woche voller gemeinsamer Erlebnisse: Beim Stammtisch und beim Pilates entspannen wir uns nach dem langen Tag. Beim City Walk durchs Scheunenviertel spüren wir die besondere Atmosphäre der Stadt. Im Seminar zu Kunst und Kultur gibt es spannende Gespräche, und beim Ausflug nach Görlitz erwarten uns neue Eindrücke. Zwischendurch lädt der Tag der Deutschen Einheit zum Durchatmen ein.
This Week at GLS:
A week full of shared experiences: We unwind after a long day at the Stammtisch and with Pilates. During the City Walk through the Scheunenviertel, we soak in the special atmosphere of the city. The Art and Culture Seminar offers engaging conversations, and the trip to Görlitz brings new impressions. In between, German Unity Day gives us a moment to relax and recharge.
Die GLS Sprachschule organisiert jede Woche mehrere Unternehmungen in Berlin, die nach dem Deutschkurs stattfinden und bei denen du zusammen mit anderen Kursteilnehmern Berlin erkunden kannst.

Poems are linguistic works of art that provide a deep insight into the culture, history and way of life of a society. In this seminar we will get to know selected examples of German poetry.

Dieses Seminar richtet sich an alle Interessenten, die einfache kommunikative Sprechanlässe mit Kunstwerken von Künstlern aus Deutschland verbinden möchten.
Zu Beginn werden wir ein kurzes Interview sehen: Wie wichtig ist den Deutschen die Kunst. Anschließend werden wir anhand von Kunstwerken aus verschiedenen Epochen kulturelle, ästhetische sowie soziale Aspekte in einfacher Sprache diskutieren. Das Seminar ist ein projektorientiertes Seminar und findet in Form eines Workshops statt.
This seminar is for anyone interested in combining simple communicative speaking opportunities with works of art by artists from Germany.
At the beginning we will see a short interview: How important is art to Germans. Afterwards, we will discuss cultural, aesthetic as well as social aspects in simple language on the basis of works of art from different epochs. The seminar is a project-oriented seminar and takes place in the form of a workshop.

Die Altstadt von Görlitz ist auf der Lister des Weltkulturerbes. Das nicht ohne Grund! Hier wurden viele Hollywoodfilme gedreht, zum Beispiel „Inglourious Bastards“ und „The Grand Budapest Hotel“. Wir besuchen auch Zgorzelec, früher ein Stadtteil von Görlitz und heute eine eigenständige Stadt in Polen.
The old town of Görlitz is on the World Heritage List. Not without reason! Many Hollywood films were shot here, for example "Inglourious Bastards" and "The Grand Budapest Hotel". We also visit Zgorzelec, formerly a district of Görlitz and now an independent city in Poland.
