Der Nationalsozialismus brachte unvorstellbares Leid und Zerstörung. Aber wie entwickelte sich diese grausame Diktatur? Welche historischen Ereignisse und Ideologien führten zu ihrem Aufstieg? Im Seminar mit Gudrun beleuchten wir die Anfänge des Nationalsozialismus, die Machtergreifung Hitlers, den Zweiten Weltkrieg und den Holocaust. Erfahrt mehr über Propaganda, Unterdrückung und Widerstand gegen das NS-Regime. Nutzt die Gelegenheit, tiefgehendes Wissen zu erwerben, Fragen zu stellen und das Verständnis für dieses dunkle Kapitel der Geschichte zu erweitern.
National Socialism brought unimaginable suffering and destruction. But how did this cruel dictatorship come about? What historical events and ideologies led to its rise? In this seminar with Gudrun, we will explore the beginnings of National Socialism, Hitler's rise to power, the Second World War, and the Holocaust. Learn about propaganda, repression and resistance to the Nazi regime. Take the opportunity to learn more, ask questions and expand your understanding of this dark chapter in history.

City Walk: Queere Geschichte Berlins / Queer Berlin History

Berlin gilt als die „Stadt der Freiheit“, die jenen einen Platz gibt, die vermeintlich „anders“ sind. Untrennbar damit verbunden ist auch die Geschichte Berlins als Heimatort queerer Freiheitsbewegungen, Nachtclubs und Freiräume. Zu Fuß erkunden wir Orte queerer Berliner Stadtgeschichte und erfahren mehr darüber, wieso Berlin zu einem Zentrum der ersten Homosexuellenbewegung vor mehr als 100 Jahren wurde.
Berlin is considered the "city of freedom" that gives a place to those who are supposedly "different". Inextricably linked to this is Berlin's history as the home of queer freedom movements, nightclubs and free spaces. On foot we will explore places of queer Berlin history and learn more about why Berlin became a center of the first homosexual movement more than 100 years ago.

Görlitz gilt als „die schönste Kleinstadt Deutschlands“ – und das nicht ohne Grund: verwinkelte Gassen, prächtige Altbauten, einzigartige Architektur aus vielen Epochen. Kein Wunder, dass hier schon Hollywood gedreht hat („Grand Budapest Hotel“ u. v. m.).
Bei unserem Ausflug spazieren wir durch die historische Altstadt, entdecken versteckte Orte und erfahren spannende Geschichten. Außerdem bleibt genug Zeit, um die Stadt selbst zu erkunden, Fotos zu machen oder einfach das Flair zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart zu genießen.

Görlitz is considered “Germany's most beautiful small town” – and not without reason: winding alleys, magnificent old buildings, unique architecture from many eras. No wonder Hollywood has filmed here (“Grand Budapest Hotel” and many more).
On our excursion, we will stroll through the historic old town, discover hidden places, and learn exciting stories. There will also be plenty of time to explore the city on your own, take photos, or simply enjoy the atmosphere that blends the past and the present.
